AR218 Hotel - 06100 Ciudad de México

My room had BEDBUGS. I immediately called the manager, and showed him a video of them (we did not realize they were bedbugs at the time) crawling all over the bed. It should also be noted that I was on the bed only for a few minutes and my suitcase never touched it despite what the apparently unstable manager states below. He switched our room, but I have bites all over my back and arm. I contacted the manager, and he switched our room; however, the next day i discovered all of the bites as bedbug bites show up 24-48 hours after one is bitten. I immediately let the manager, Mario, know that they were indeed bedbugs and that i had to wash all of my clothes and might even need to get a new suitcase. He was callous in his response and refused to refund me for the room. Said that he did not find any bedbugs in the room after we left and that it could have been me that had them. There were so many bugs that they were crawling around in the light, which means that it was an infestation. I was on the bed for about 10-15 minutes and have so many bites. I can send you a video of the bugs and of my bites. I was extremely disappointed and deserve a refund at minimum. I also am worried about future guests. In response to the comments below: Bedbugs only come out in daylight when there is an infestation - I had only been in the room for about an hour and my suitcase never touched the bed, which I'm extremely grateful for b/c no bugs traveled to my next destination (an AirBNB). Bites take 24-48 hours to appear, as they did. Do not stay here.

Here some reason why NOT to stay here . 1. No one of the staff know English here . 2. The hotel build like a cube all the windows are in front to the other rooms so no privacy at all ! 3. Bad costumer service, the manager is an evil man who just try to charge more money for nothing. 4. They charge us 75$ more then the original price because the have “different” rate for the US dollar . 5. Expansive hotel that even don’t have breakfast. 6. Read all the other reviews and and see that they have bad bugs and many more bad stuff there. Just don’t don’t stay there !

Beautiful hotel. Very clean and modern interior. Quiet throughout, with a gorgeous rooftop terrace. Staff is friendly, but low touch. AC system, at least in the “winter” leaves something to be desired. It was so bad that we had to switch rooms, and the system still didn’t work well: it would heat when you wanted it to cool, and vice versa. Several times we’d wake up at 3 AM sweating because it was over 36° C in the room — frustrating when it’s only 10° C outside but you can’t open any windows. Very nice that there is a Starbucks attached that opens early and closes late.

Quiet, comfortable, modern, nice bathroom & good water pressure. Room was large and had a king sized bed and a spacious sitting area . Loved the floor to ceiling windows. Our room had 2 air conditioners. Walking distance to restaurants & stores in Condesa. The front desk people were friendly but their English was limited -if you are looking for a concierge service this may not be the place for you. Bottled water provided daily. Considering the price of the room this was a great option.

Love this place! Great price! Great location! Right in the heart of Condesa! Walking distance to everything...especially Amsterdam Street! ❤️ Amenities are simple yet perfect. Space is very tranquil and inviting, especially the floor to ceiling windows in the rooms! Starbucks on premise doesn’t hurt. ? The staff was warm and helpful with all of my needs, to include washing my clothes! ? Will always look forward to coming back! P.S. Large size body lotion bottle a super plus! ?

Great hotel. Location is ideal. Modern, clean interiors. Mario goes out of his way to cater to every need and is very helpful. Just booked a second stay there.

Security is loud and obnoxious. Stepped out on the 2nd floor of the foyer above Starbucks to take an important call only to have security literally scream at me to clear the area like I was literally murdering someone from the ground level to the second floor. Almost gave me a heart attack, so ghetto. If you care about maintaining a comfortable space for guests, what makes you think screaming and shouting at folks is going to help maintain that? I get the prestige of the establishment but maybe invest in less problematic or obnoxious security/training? Thanks.

Very nice hotel in a great neighborhood. Rooms were very clean, the staff very friendly and Mario the manager was kind and extremely helpful! The hotel has nice bikes to sign out free of charge. We will come back any time.
