★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A hidden gem! The owner and all his employees are wonderful. The steak is to die for. Wish I could bottle up their olive oil! If I could give 6 stars I would.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place. A classical ''don't judge a book by it's cover'' seemed as a fast food restaurant. But the meat served was just delicious. As good as an expensive fancy restaurant. Don't expect it to be chea, but definitvely worth it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A fantastic restaurant. This is an Argentinan Grill and the beef is always recommended. The empanadas were delicious with the dough being just the right combination of buttery and flaky. As good as the tacos were, the empanadas were even better.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Funny story, this hidden culinary gem is right next to Riu Plaza Guadalajara. I've been staying at Riu since 2013 and yesterday was my first time at Boedo (Kudos to Google Maps).
Very small place, in a good way! The owner was sitting having a drink and watching a soccer match, not sure if he is there all day or not, or if his presence influences service
I order a Humita Empanada and Provoleta as appetizers. I ordered a Mushin Golden Blaster beer, it is a local brew. I am not much of a fan of trying new / local beers, I am glad I did. It is a hazy lager, light on the alcohol and so refreshing, ended up drinking two!
So going back to the appetizers, the empanada was soft and well deep fried, the provoleta was soft with a crust on one side; it had a sweet sauce that I had never tried before; it was topped with tomato slicea and herbs....really good!
My main course was a Ojo de Bife medium rare with a side of french fries.....the Chumichurri was on very good, well ballanced, not overwhelmingly strong, ingredients seemed fresh and oil was light.
The beef was tender and juicy, with the right ratio of fat vs lean meat. I am giving this review 4 stars only for one main reason, I wanted to pair my Ojo de Bife with a glass of Malbec, unfortunately they only had Concha y Toro which is a wine from Chile, nothing against Chile; just would have expected to drink an Argentinean Malbec, my suggestion to the staff is to buy Trivento, awesome wine (I have a bottle in my wine cellar).
I am planning on returning in a couple of days once I return to GUAD. Hopefully the buy a bottle of Trivento, looking forward in ordering pizza, salad and most likely a Tira de Asado.
