★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I always enjoyed my Mills there until the last time they change their menu I always would get the Mexican pizza they still have it on the menu but I don't know what's Mexican about it it's basically just ground beef I ordered it and have them add jalapenos at least. I wanted a small salad but all they would sell me what's an entree huge salad after much convincing I said look I just want a small decide dinner salad. They did make it for me and the dressing was delicious but when I got my bill they charge me for an entree salad

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ New to Ajijic, it happens we are staying next door to La Serenata. We were sitting on our rooftop when a band started playing..They sounded excellent so we went down and had great pizza, wine and entertainment ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The waiter made mistakes on all 3 orders. Tapas were supposed to be meat free and he brought them
with meat on top. He took them back, took the ham off and brought them right back without any other changes.
The pizza was supposed to have jalapenos on it. It did not, so he took it back and back ayand added them. And the pasta ordernever came till the 2 of we're done eating. None of the food was that good as well

Food is very good.
Wonderful ambience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cafe La Serenata, was our first dinning experience in Ajijjc. Our flt. arrived late and we were famished! We dropped our bags off and headed out in search of food. The cafe was in the process of closing. With no real Spanish coming out my mouth the manager/owner flagged us in. Love this place and the pizza, ? and dessert was absolutely perfect. We stopped in one other time before our vacation was over and again the service and our treat was perfect. This place definitely made a positive impression on us and will continue to be our first dinning choice.

I was sorry I didn't know they had music Wednesdays 8 to 10. Finally a place that stays open after 7pm.....

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a perfect afternoon for Spanish Tapas, Wood-fired Pizzas, Sangria and a Michelada or two - on a beautiful outdoor patio under a giant tree, with a view of Lake Chapala! La Serenata Bohemian Bistro offers a wonderful and varied menu of Italian favorites, including Entradas, Ensaladas, Sopas, Pastas, and Entrées, but their Wood-fired Pizzas are truly amazing. Today we ordered the Napolitano and the Sicilian, and had more than enough to bring home and share some pizza crust with our Corgi - one of her favorites! Our server was also friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. Since our recent move to Ajijic, we look forward to returning soon and often.
