★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Carnitas La Fama, es un lugar agradable para disfrutar de unas ricas carnitas, gorditas o chicharrones, y hasta de una rica fruta o ensalada mientras esperas lo que pediste, las personas son muy amables y serviciales iniciando por los mismos dueños , lo único que les falta, es rapidez en servir. Pero aún así es riquísimo. Lo recomiendo.
Carnitas La Fama, is a pleasant place to enjoy some delicious carnitas, gorditas or pork rinds, and even a delicious fruit or salad while you wait for what you ordered, the people are very kind and helpful starting with the owners themselves, the only thing that lack, is speed in serving. But it is still very rich. I recommend it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was a stopover during our trip to Torreon from Mexico City, a 12 hour road trip. I was told the place offer very traditional gorditas and fried pork skins. More than that, I saw fried pork feet as well! The restaurant is located in the center of the little town, big open area with open kitchen style, very friendly service staff, gorditas and tortillas were freshly made. However, I though the meat just a bit over cooked on the hard size and there were not much difference between the different meats I tried. The melon milk drink was delicious though. Overall, it’s a decent place to get a big meal on the budget.
