★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing building. Originally a hospital started in 1859 by the Catholic church and abandoned in 1979. Taken over by the city council it now operates as a cultural centre with lots of student artwork on display. The view from the roof over the building complex is worthwhile.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful museum with a fascinating history. We had a tour to go to the top of the building and down to the tunnels and learnt so much from our friendly informative guide. Entrance is free and the tour is free as well, definitely recommend taking the tour if offered because you get to hear all about the history of the building and of Tlaquepaque itself (and sometimes the guides tell ghost stories).
