★ ★ ★ ★ ★ You want a real tourist experience? Head up Lazaro Cardenas to the morning market. Buy yourself some fruits and veggies at Baca. Tour through the market, then walk towards the bridge (toward the mountain) and pick up some shrimp/fish from this local spot.
Lots of fresh fish from around the area. Check to see that they have ocean shrimp. A lot of shrimp in Mexico comes from the shrimp farms.
These guys peeled them for me at no extra cost.
