Great diving. Julia and Erik were great. Took boat direct to Cozumel for two dives. Really loved the experience.

Julia and Erik were so welcoming and helpful. It was our first day in Playa and we were interested in buying a mask and snorkel and maybe fins. they took the time to show us what they had and even looked into some options they didn't have in the shop but could get from one of their partner shops. We bought a mask and snorkel set and they prepped our mask by burning the grease off the mask and cleaning it with toothpaste.(Video of it shared) They let us rent some fins for the day which was great. Next time we have more time Wed love to try a dive with them.

Was referred here by another shop that was too busy. It's a small mom-and-pop shop that will go the extra mile to ensure you have the best scuba experience possible. 100% would use again. Definitely would recommend!

For anyone who wants an ideal vacation and experience 5 star hotel level customer focus, go to Julia and Erik shop for all your Diving needs! I have done two diving vacations and will plan all future dive trips with them. They are simply amazing. Above and beyond every expectation, they helped navigate every challenge that faced my 11 year old daughter during her open water certification. Highly recommend- no need to read any further reviews or do any more searching!

Julia and Erik are the bomb! We were looking to buy a snorkel mask and stumbled upon this store. Although they did not have it, the resulting conversation with them for the next half hour was so enticing that it kept us so engaged and learn so much about little things people don’t tell you such as the disadvantages of staying at a place close to the beach, etc. Yes, the visit to Mexico must also include learning about the culture and blending with the people. This couple is exactly that! They were super informative, and gave us a whole lot of tips of things to do not just in pdc, but Cancun, isla mujeres etc! They are super fun to talk to, and extremely warm and welcoming! I can’t wait to learn a bit of swimming and do a course with them the next time I visit. I would definitely not look elsewhere. We learnt so much about the stay in pdc from them more than the research we had done reading other blogs! Can’t wait to read Julia’s blog on ‘Things that people don’t tell you about water and electricity’ ;-) and rarely do you meet people who make fun of themselves and it’s all in good humor! If you're looking for an awesome, easygoing, and epic diving experience in Playa, look no further than Dive Shop Mexico! Julia was incredibly welcoming right off the bat, and she and Eric run an awesome dive shop. They are very focused on catering to your diving interests, and safety precautions are top notch compared to some other diving operators out there. My dives were incredible and very smoothly run - special shout out to Danny for being such an awesome and fun divemaster! I couldn't be happier with my experience with this shop, and can't recommend them enough!

Have done 2 dives with them and will return. Both Julia and Eric along with their associates are great! I love that they remember you and provide a safe and good experience.

Dive Shop Mexico in Play del Carmen is the place to go. Julia and Erik are excellent shop owners, dive instructors, and really good down to earth people. Julia and Erik were highly recommended by a long time friend and they did not disappoint. My experience achieving my open water diving certification was no less than amazing. The shop's flexibility to meet my needs and cater to my skill level is top notch. These two are the reason I would happily visit Playa del Carmen again in a heartbeat. Five stars for a review is not enough, they deserve ten!
