V	Victoria Cullen on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mixed thoughts but overall an okay trip, however with all the other options in the area I don’t think I’d be going back. Stayed at palms springs Things I liked: good selection of food, beautiful beach with ample seating, beautiful grounds, rooms were clean Things I didn’t like: no written policy on their Covid requirements (and I’m happy to wear a mask, but you gotta tell me so I’m prepared), the Covid testing site had no organization or written directions so it took an hour and a half, the food was hit or miss, some staff came off as rushes or abrasive, they require you make reservations for dinner with a concierge who leaves at 3:30 which screwed us over in our first day when you could just make it part of the el dorado app, and finally there were a lot of vendors harassing us to buy souvenirs. I had a nice week, but I’ve had better experiences elsewhere ?‍♀️

First, upon checking in at the palms you are never shown where the other lobby is, you are told "your personal concierge will find you tomorrow and make all your dinner reservations for the trip" it took us over 2 days to make contact with the "personal conierge" who then told us all the restaurants are booked and just go to the buffet which was at the lobby we knew nothing about! With that said, the wait staff was awesome, the pool bar by our room had the best drinks, the others were disappointing and watered down it tasted like. I will not be staying at another Karisma or El Dorado resort.

J	J R on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This resort was amazing. Great food - Lots of variety great freshness and delicious. I appreciated the small serving sizes so that I could try different things without wasting. They even have a greenhouse on the property! The food is everywhere and so are the drinks! They have great staff and service - Javier on the beach is hilarious. Really great view of the ocean especially when relaxing from the cabana, but the beach isn’t great for swimming. That being said you can just take a two minute golf cart ride to the other beach which is awesome. Just know that their resort bucks are absolutely useless and if you’re going to go to sales presentation be ready to spend 2 1/2 to 3 hours before they even tell you the price.
M	Michelle Roades on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My son stayed here and we were on the infinity side. Our side was newer but both were very clean and hospitality was great for both. I did like the atmosphere better on the Palms side.It felt more tropical.

V	Vern Toews on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fabulous place to spend our honeymoon. The Palms side has a great beach and is nice and quiet. Lots of restaurants to choose from. Friendly staff, great food. Only thing keeping it from 5 stars is that it would have been nice to get a bit better treatment on our honeymoon... Missing little things in our room that others seemed to get. But they did give us a candlelight dinner next to the ocean.
A	April & Robert on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had an amazing time on our honeymoon. The staff are amazing. The views and entertainment are spectacular. The food is very good, especially the Italian. The seaweed guys work very hard to keep the beach clean. We loved snorkeling right off the beach and seeing all the fish. The only complaint we had was issues in our room. The patio door didn’t lock, our tub leaked, and we never got our fridge restocked. All of these issues were resolved after talking to our concierge. One meal our server forgot about us and we ended up leaving and going to a different restaurant.
