Run by a family that turned this 30-year abandon building into a super cute cafe near plaza machado! If you get to meet Pablo and Monica they will make you feel like family too. They have a great mix of both Mexican food and North American comfort food, especially on their breakfast/brunch menu. If you like treats like Scones and cake, there is quite the selection here as well. We ate: - Chilaquiles: Amazingly creamy and just the right amount of spice. The owner told us that they make the sauce daily from scratch! - Stuffed French Toast: The inside had an orange marmalade with powdered sugar and fruit on the outside. Such a great cheat meal! - Beef Machaca: The beef machaca combo plate had chilaquiles, a fried egg, refined beans and a slow-cooked beef that was bursting with flavor. - Nutty mango yogurt smoothie: They pick the mango during peak ripe season and freeze it for the rest of the year so the smoothies always taste 100%. While I didn't eat the bagels, they do have a great bagel menu that taunted me the entire time ;) There is a rooftop patio as well as the main space indoors to sit and eat. They have live music Tuesday to Sunday 9am to noon and Tues/Thurs 5pm to 8pm. Great place for both breakfast and lunch! Easy to walk to from the cruise port or any bus stop in centro. We will be back for sure!

Esinti can make a most excellent plant-based burrito.

Hubby and I love dining on the rooftop deck at Esinti. The servers are friendly, helpful and speak English. The regular beef burger was one of the best burgers we've eaten in recent memory, and the apple salad was fresh and tasty with a zesty dressing that tantalized our taste buds. Highly recommended, with reasonable prices.

Delightful atmosphere, wonderful location, exquisite food and friendly staff awaits for you in here. You may enjoy your late afternoon sitting on the cafe’s roof garden surrounded by historical buildings as you drink your hot coffee. Only a block away from the famous Plaza Machado you can go for a walk after you finish having your food. I do recommend doing so in the night time and on weekdays as it may get quite busy on weekends. For an even more enjoyable time make sure to bring with you good company to laugh with or a fine book to get lost in.

My wife and I had our first visit 2 weeks ago. We have gone back three times since then. The stuffed French toast for breakfast is great. The guacamole appetizer is excellent. The Argentina hamburger is highly recommended as is the lobster bisque. The pan seared tuna with roasted veggies was also very good. The roof top is an added bonus. Almost forgot we also highly recommend the Nutty Mango Smoothie's for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Service is also very good.

So 6 of us come here, 3 Spanish speakers and 3 English speakers. We have been here before and the service and food were good but today was significantly different. I wouldn't be writing this review if the owner (Pablo and his wife Monica) would have just said sorry. That he couldn't even do. So we ordered and 3 of us got our food pretty quickly. 3 of us didn't. The three that didn't it took an hour and 45 minutes to get our food. We had to ask the servers 3 times and Pablo twice. When we finally asked Pablo in Spanish why it took 1.75 hours to get our food and had to ask 5 times, he said we are perfect and our systems are perfect. I was like are you serious that's all you can say?! It's normally really good but Pablo's attitude was awful and I would suggest a different place. There are a lot of great places to eat in Mazatlán, pick a place that doesn't approach mistakes with such arrogance. Lastly to makes matters worst it took 40 minutes to get our bills.

My husband and I enjoyed a cool relaxing breakfast on the rooftop. Prices run about the same as most places in Centro District. Food was tasty with lots of flavor. Location was easy to find about a 50 peso didi ride from Golden Zone. We are Dessert people and hear they have the best carrot cake so will be leaving with a piece to go for after dinner tonight.
