C	Catia Paratí on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Central de abastos is the best option in town to make groceries, aside of the regular fruit and vegetable places there are some places like this where you can buy milk products for very convenient prices. Try to go to the Stores located from Calle 11 to the end because they are not so crowded on weekends when comparing with the ones close to Lazaro Cardenas avenue.

There is a small (1 square block) area for retail sales and food stalls, and a huge neighborhood sized area for wholesale purchasing. This is where the chefs come to get the best products in this part of Mexico. You are going to find the best of the best. Don't forget to try the birria at Aceves.

If going bicycle, that's even more dificult. Make sure to carry some arrangements to carry the things you buy since that will become a challenge.

One way to describe it would be to call it total chaos. 10,000 people buying, selling, eating, driving, running, working and having fun all over the place. This circus humongous can give your patience level a nice stretch, especially if you don't like crowds. Or if your into personal space. These are busy people trying to make a fair living and consumers out looking for the cheapest prices. My friend calls it El Infierno. "Hell". This might be because once you get it in, it can be near impossible to get out. My advice, try it at least once. You may love it, like I did. Some people thrive on adventure, even if you are just going grocery shopping. HA!
