★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Frøya Panadería es una nueva opción de caféconpan en el Centro Histórico de Puebla. Este recinto alberga ricas creaciones de panadería con inspiración noruega, así como distintos métodos de extracción de café poblano.
A tres cuadras del Zócalo encontramos Frøya en una bella esquina color azul y al entrar dan el primer flechazo con unas bellas piezas de pan exhibidas, tanto dulce como salado. Todo se complementa con un ambiente limpio, amplio e iluminado con la luz que entra por sus puertas coloniales.
Tienen una opción del Flat White en versión “grande”, que resulta ser muy buena dosis para acompañar a quienes gustamos ponernos a trabajar un rato en estos lugares tan agradables.
El café que utilizan es un café 100% arábica, poblano, producido por @sierranegracafe. Delicioso en las bebidas a base de espresso, pero nos dieron la oportunidad de probarlo en #Chemex para poder disfrutarlo con mayor claridad.
El Pan: dulce y salado de masa madre
Desde que ingresas hay unos “panecitos” que llaman mucho la atención, a primera vista parecieran donas, pero se trata de unos ricos “bollitos” muy versátiles y tradicionales de Noruega, preparados de diversas maneras, como los que tienen fruta (fresa, durazno) con relleno de crema pastelera. Nosotros pedimos uno de chocolate con coco (sin relleno) y otro de cajeta con nuez rostizada y flor de sal. Este último toque saladito es el que cambia toda la experiencia ??
La combinación del flat white con la tartita de cajeta es un #comboganador.
Además, probamos también el rol de canela que tiene un toque de cardamomo, lo cual también potencia su sabor y no queda otro camino más que acabárselo con cada sorbo que le damos al cafecito.
Algo impresionante es su #pansalado, hecho con masa madre y disponible en chapatas, baguette, hogazas, con semillas, entre varias presentaciones. Nos enamoramos de este sabor que llevamos a casa y que resultó en el complemento ideal para desayunar, con la bondad de la masa madre que resulta ligera, saludable y muy rica.
Frøya Panadería is a new coffee and bread option in the Historic Center of Puebla. This enclosure houses rich Norwegian-inspired bakery creations, as well as different methods of extracting Poblano coffee.
Three blocks from the Zócalo we find Frøya in a beautiful blue corner and when entering they give the first crush with some beautiful pieces of bread displayed, both sweet and savory. Everything is complemented by a clean, spacious and illuminated environment with the light that enters through its colonial doors.
They have an option of the Flat White in a "large" version, which turns out to be a very good dose to accompany those of us who like to get to work for a while in these pleasant places.
The coffee they use is 100% Arabica coffee, Poblano, produced by @sierranegracafe. Delicious in espresso-based drinks, but we were given the opportunity to try it at #Chemex so we could enjoy it more clearly.
The Bread: sweet and salty sourdough
As soon as you enter there are some "buns" that attract a lot of attention, at first glance they look like donuts, but they are very versatile and traditional Norwegian "buns", prepared in various ways, such as those with fruit (strawberry, peach ) with pastry cream filling. We ordered a chocolate with coconut (no filling) and another cajeta with roasted walnuts and fleur de sel. This last salty touch is the one that changes the whole experience ??

In addition, we also tried the cinnamon roll that has a touch of cardamom, which also enhances its flavor and there is no other way but to finish it off with each sip we give to the coffee.
Something impressive is their #pansalado, made with sourdough and available in chapatas, baguettes, loaves, with seeds, among various presentations. We fell in love with this flavor that we took home and that resulted in the ideal complement for breakfast, with the goodness of the sourdough that is light, healthy and very rich.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As a European tourist in Mexico, I can say this bakery/café makes bread and pastries just like the best ones that I can eat at home. The cinnamon rolls are great with a coffee for breakfast, and the sandwiches made with sourdough bread are great for a quick dinner or lunch.
The staff is very nice and if you're a tourist, they won't hesitate to give suggestions for your stay, even in good English! Thank you for everything!
