Not like any other girl I've stayed at in Mexico, but very much so the same type of hotel that I've seen in the United States. Not extremely cheap, but cheap enough. No fridge, no microwave, and the manager actually came and opened the door to our room the night we stayed there, for no reason apparently.. some staff was very friendly, and the other half was a bit rude. All n All, it was a normal experience at a hotel, an experience that you would expect, nothing strange and nothing special.
