While the pictures of the room and hotels look really fancy on their website, in reality the rooms are a bit old and dated (maybe I was in a room that wasn't renovated yet). The room is a bit dark, the walls are bland, and while it's a step up from a hostel, it's really not that nice. I had some trouble with the toilet lever (you had to press it really hard). The breakfast buffet in the morning is alright. You can get tired of it quickly, so I recommend not booking the inclusive breakfast. Also, the hotel does not have a crib for infants (nor does the restaurant has high chairs). That said, the prices are cheap, you have a partial, but great view to the El Angel de la Independencia, the staff is nice (though their English isn't great), and you are walking distance to the square, subway, a department store and what seems to be a little Japanese area around the corner. There's also a convenience store right across from the hotel.

Do not be fooled by the glossy photos on the website. This second floor room is dark, outdated and incredibly noisy, nothing like the bright and beautiful images of the room I supposedly booked. Upon check in, they announce that they have already charged my card (despite written mentions from the booking service that it would charged upon arrival) "We can do this!". What appears to have been a good deal online is the price without the taxes and room fees. They also note that I would have to move rooms tomorrow as I cannot be accommodated in the same room for the entire stay. It is not possible to watch the tv from the bed or the couch-- this could be very annoying for some people. The wood floorboards are coming up and the hum of the refrigerator is very loud. These issues are inconvenient to say the least. The lobby is very cramped and in need of refurbishment. This first impression is not the way you want to begin your business trip/holiday. As I am not the first one to have this experience at this hotel, I encourage you to look elsewhere.

Liked this place so much. We had terrible experiences with airbnb in cdmx so we decided to go to a hotel. I’ve been twice in this hotel after the first time we had a really nice staying and decided to stay again once we were coming back to cdmx. I’ve been reading some comments from people saying that is old, it is old, but its fine, not looking for the most modern place, just a safe and clean place, noce views and in a really centric place. The price was also pretty good and they have a gym even. Both rooms we stayed had a small kitchen and they just leave some coffe so you can make yourself at home.

Fiance and I stayed here for a week. Were more than satisfied. Although you can probably find a newer hotel with similar amenities and location for the same price. Is decent but might try another place next time. First the good: Great location. Great views. Decent internet. Good value with buffet breakfast included which is very convenient if you have errands to do in the morning. Housekeeping thorough and flexibly timed. Fresh linens every day. Big closet with a small safe. Windows allow natural ventilation. Every employee was quite kind, helpful and nice. Now the bad: Kitchenette iss currently disabled due to COVID. It can get noisy up until 23:00 specially on the weekend. AC does not work properly. It has a funky cigarrete smell if you leave the air vent open. Some electric outlets do not work. Fake wood floors. Outdated features. Hair drier only turns on for 10 seconds. Internet kicks you out every day at 10 pm and you have to re-login.

I want to give 5 stars to this hotel. The service is great. On the first the card to Open the room,s Door did not work but it happens in many places. The locación is excelent. Right Next to the us consulate. There is a restaurant el mexicano in the lobby and many more restaurants on the street. No need to take taxi.

This hotel was very outdated and the elevator hardly worked- I was honestly afraid I would be stuck in it because it was constantly broken down and they would have to bring people to try to “fix” it. By far the worst part was the wifi. It was non-existent. Definitely do not stay here if you need to have wifi; it was like 20 kb/s when I would run speed checks. I work remotely and had to tether my phone and pay a lot for wifi. I tried to make it work but it just was not worth the stress… so fellow digital nomads beware… Airbnb’s are the way to go it seems in CDMX if you need internet. The Staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and the room was spacious, but it really was not a great stay.

Room was smaller, dingier, and dirtier than it appeared online when we booked. We checked out the night we checked in. Hotel may be good for a budget long term stay, there is a small kitchenette with two burners near the sink.
