About Hotel Hacienda San Cristóbal
Un siglo después, en 1915, los terrenos de la Hacienda San Cristóbal sirvieron de campo de batalla para los ejércitos villistas y los de Obregón. Mismo año en el que mi abuelo Joseph Louis Fox Flach se convierte en dueño legítimo de la hacienda.
Mi abuelo era un aventurero, un pionero, por que recorrió miles de kilómetros, desde Cincinnati hasta encontrar su hogar en el Bajío Mexicano. Trabajó como velador en una fábrica de carros de caballo. Él no vivía más que para el trabajo, un valor que inculcó a sus hijos y a sus nietos.
Mi abuelo tuvo cuatro hijos, mi padre José Luis, Bertha y Ana Fox Pont. Mi padre se casó con Mercedes Quesada Etxaide en el año 1919. Mi madre era muy guapa, seria y de buena familia. Mi padre era un hombre que se hacía notar, muy querido y andariego.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent facilities and great service however the privacy in the bathroom is little due to the glass door which I believe should be changed since there may be guests or families and it's quite uncomfortable to use the bathroom in such condition (completely see through right in front of the toilet)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The hotel is nice and quaint, but service is bad. +2 weeks before my arrival I called Expedia and canceled one night, they confirmed and said that the hotel was aware and that there was no penalty. Basically the hotel denied it and charged me for that day. I don’t understand why the hotel staff treated me as a liar while providing terrible excuses and service just to save them 75 bucks!.

He was super nice, helpful and always had a positive attitude. I could really tell his passion is providing excellent customer service. Thank you Joel for making my business partner and I feel at home. Highly recommend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely loved our time here! Was such an amazing place with so much history. Along with the presidential museum of Vicente Fox and all the amazing grounds around the hotel, the stay was quite memorable.
The food was amazing as well. Nelson the general manager and his staff were always there to help out.
