L	Luis M Q G on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tengan cuidado con los que venden tours. Verifiquen que no haya sargazo y el agua sea clara antes de comprar un viaje para snorkel. Los guías te muestran las pirámides desde el mar, pero no saben nada de la zona arqueológica, no aporta. Fue una perdida de tiempo y dinero, no vimos nada. Al final el guía solo dijo "nos estamos acabando el planeta". Eso sí, los cenotes cada todos que nos ofrecieron ahí mismo sí valen la pena. Desgraciadamente perdimos mucho tiempo en el snorkel. Be careful with those who sell tours. Check for sargassum and the water is clear before purchasing a snorkeling trip. The guides show you the pyramids from the sea, but they don't know anything about the archaeological zone, they don't contribute. It was a waste of time and money, we didn't see anything. In the end the guide only said "we are running out of the planet". Of course, each cenotes that they offered us right there are worth it. Unfortunately we lost a lot of time snorkeling.

Nosotros paramos creyendo que pertenecía al estado y nos ofrecieron la entrada para "evitar la cola", el estacionamiento para no pagar por hora y 1 paseo en barco para ir a la barrera de coral. El precio que pagamos fue un robo. Cuando llegamos al estacionamiento era mentira, no cobraban lo q supuestamente iban a cobrar, no había cola en la entrada y para peor lo que los barquitos cobran en la playa es 4 veces menos! Don't stop here !! At the entrance there is a tulum ticket center office. We stopped believing that it belonged to the state and they offered us the entrance to "skip the line", the parking to not pay by the hour and 1 boat ride to go to the coral reef. The price we paid was a robbery. When we got to the parking lot it was a lie, they did not charge what they were supposed to charge, there was no queue at the entrance and worse, what the boats charge on the beach is 4 times less!

If driving, you can circle and park at the exit quickly to grab your photo instead of parking on the busy highway. We were able to stop as we were headed from Bacalar to Playa Del Carmen. There is no need to pay to park for a picture with the sign. Unfortunately, we didn’t get an opportunity to visit the Ruins or the Mystika Art Museum (yes, there is actually many wonderful Tulum gems behind this sign). Explore all of Tulum, and it’s other cities. Enjoy! I hope you find this review helpful. If so, please give me a thumbs up. Thank you.
