I spent multiple days speaking Spanish with Jonathan, including days where we combined some local tourism with my lessons at my request. He was very punctual, patient and professional. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Exactly the way to learn a language! My teacher, Marco, was brilliant and incredibly knowledgeable about the linguistic aspects of Spanish. Learning by speaking was way more effective than traditional lessons, and now I feel very confident in conversation. I chose to split half my time in the classroom half in the city, and it worked out perfectly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was in Mexico on holiday and took 3 days of City Trips with the school to practice speaking Spanish in a live environment. My teacher was Xochitl, and she was extremely friendly and welcoming. We went to a number of museums together and she helped a lot with understanding Mexican culture and history. It kind of felt like having a Spanish teacher and tour guide :)
I did find I missed the structure of a classroom environment, so if I was to go again, I would consider having lessons at the school. But Xochitl was a great teacher and I would recommend 100%.

My teacher Luis was everything I hoped for - friendly, patient, interesting and genuinely invested in improving my Spanish. A really brilliant teacher, Luis prepared for classes, provided very useful material and sought the best methods to get me to improve, work on my bad habits and become more free flowing in everyday conversational Spanish. Luis understood my gaps very early on and I certainly feel vastly improved after the two weeks of learning. I recommend Luis at LSMC to all learners around the world seeking to learn Spanish in the wonderful Mexico City.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had classes with Marco and he was the best teacher I’ve had (trust me, I did try different schools and teachers, and I’m so happy finally I’m in good hands after a month!) So if this review will save you a lot of time on researching, I’m glad——Marco was very professional, attentive, knowledgeable and adjust his teaching according to my needs, which is super helpful! I definitely feel how passionate he was with his job, and how much he cares about students. Couldn’t recommend enough!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had a fantastic time with LSMC, and my tutor Marco was friendly, professional, and deeply helpful in refreshing my Spanish.
I had a month-long vacation throughout Mexico planned, and I was looking to refresh my high school-level Spanish at the start of the trip. Learn Spanish offered various flexible programs, and I was able to book 2 three-hour lessons through the City Trips program. This meant the lessons were held throughout the city, and we were able to practice conversations in parks and cafes.
Marco had an expert understanding of language and language education, and I appreciate his clear pronunciation and clarity in explanations. This meant I was able to refresh most of the grammatical concepts I wanted to work on, ranging from the nuance of various prepositions to the usage of the subjunctive. More importantly, the real-world situations meant we could practice my speaking. This was my favorite part. I feel like the six hours of guided conversation was the equivalent practice of a week of solo travel.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best experience I could have had. My teacher was Luis and from the start he was patient, helpful, and knowledgeable. My Spanish improved daily with him and we hit it off personally. Also, he taught me an incredible amount about Mexico and Mexican culture in a way that I haven't gotten elsewhere during my three months here. Within a week we were friends, and that helped me feel lessons were fun instead of necessary. Luis was the best teacher I could've asked for.

My teacher, Jonathan, was great - lessons were a blend of learning new things, practising, and free conversation, which made me so much more confident in my Spanish by the end of the week. He had a very kind and patient teaching style, while also keeping the energy high throughout the two hour sessions. I would absolutely recommend this school, it was the best one I tried during my time in Mexico.
