Y a mi, Yerli.
UPDATE: In the original review below I left 1 star. On my 2nd courtesy call I was offered I left 4. So 2.5 average. I was not contacted until I posted this review. I had already sent an email and message through private channels. I talked with the manager that the person monitoring those private channels lacked proactivity to communicate my bad experience to the team. In short, once communicated with the person in charge, a more professional treatment. He offered me courtesy and shared with me the measures they were going to take to prevent my bad experience from happening again. On my 2nd courtesy visit (thank you!) I was ok/happy with the masseuse who attended me. A better experience. But I continue with the conclusion of not believing that it is the place to remove contractures (back, neck in my case). They give relaxing massages but I don't know if anyone there is qualified to remove contractures (physio, sports massage...it goes that way). So if you ask me, yes I would go back for one of those relaxing 'Swedes', but I would go with a physio to attend to the other. ––––––––––––––––––– One Friday night I had a bad experience. On Saturday morning I gave them 30-min of my time to write them a private email review with the intention of helping. 3 weeks passed and no thanks. I know they received and opened the mail because my email informs me. then as apparently it was not useful to them, I leave it here and I hope for you planning to visit them, be it: "Yesterday Friday at 7pm I received a couples massage at the downtown location. My partner was treated by Adri. And I was treated by Yerli. My girlfriend didn't say anything constructive to Adri. He liked his massage. And here are my constructive points for Yerli: – Neck care: 3 / 5 ⭐️'s – Legs: 3 / 5 ⭐️'s but as I said at the beginning, I didn't even want my legs to be touched. I have 2 sports leg massages in the last week. I came here for contractures and pain in the upper back, then the neck, and finally, the lower back. – Attention to lower back: 2 / 5 ⭐️'s. I barely got any attention there. – Attention to upper back (the most important for me): 1 / 5 ⭐️'s. Two thirds of the attention was with the elbow. It's painful, it's uncomfortable, and I think that when a masseur uses it, it's because he doesn't trust his (or doesn't have) his ability and strength with his hands. I am not saying this is the case, it is my belief informed by my experience. The worst thing is that Yerli focused on what she perceived as two contractures, diagnosing them as such because she said she perceived an edge. Like when you go from strand to strand in a braid, she (and I) felt something like that. Knowing my body, I assure you they were not contractures. It was a point on my back, near 'the wing' where tendon, muscle and bone intersect and that is why that edge or relief is perceived. And well obviously both 'contractures' were symmetrically positioned on both sides of the back, and he worked them with substance and elbow, resulting in an unpleasant experience. I even thought that I would wake up with a new pain, an additional injury from the massage. Other than those 'contractures', I barely work my upper back. With the hands less, in fact I don't remember any punctual manipulation of the upper back with the hands. And the back and neck pain that I arrived with, well, I still have it. – In general, and this is not only for Yerli but for the entire team that assigns masseuse to client: I recommend pairing large clients (in my case skinny 70kg but tall, 183 tall) with the tallest masseuses. The logic is simple. The taller one tends to have stronger hands and forearms. And so, you can take care of an equally large body without the need to put elbows or carry extra weight. I know it's hard to digest constructive feedback. I have no doubt that if Yerli wants to use anything from this review to improve her massage, she will do it in no time, with a couple of hours of guided practice, or reading about it and always being aware of which bodies are assigned to her. I send you a hug, with love and respect Ferdinand"

We had a bachelorette party for my sister here... they always treated me very well since I asked for information about the packages... and not to mention the whole experience of the massage and facial they gave us... we were delighted! The facilities are very nice and the girls very professional

I booked Mantra because of the high reviews and because they offered Post Surgical LDM. On their website they list that they do post surgery lymphatic drainage massages for $990 for 80 minutes. I asked if they could travel to me since I had just had surgery and they agreed and were very accommodating and charged me a transportation cost of $200 extra. They charged me a total of $2300 total. Then tried to argue with me and say it was $2100 not $990. The 1110 extra was for travel even though when they messaged me they said it would only be $200 extra for travel to cover Uber. I felt they were being very dishonest because I’m a foreigner. I definitely will not be returning back here. A post surgery lymphatic drainage massage should not be for more than 60 minutes and should not have deep pressure. They do not know what they’re doing and are acting unprofessional for a business that has been open for 10 years. There are better spas in San Pedro that are cleaner, with honest office staff, educated therapists and have professional staff and managers. You cannot argue with a customer about what is clearly stated on your website. You should be ashamed for ripping off customers.

I have been a client for several years and I really like Mantra Spa. Always attentive, helpful, punctual. They have very attractive packages. The prices are fair and perfect for the service they offer. They are not overpriced like most spas in the area. Highly recommended!
