Vidanta Acapulco is a beautiful resorts. Did a family vacation with my son n daughter n their families. My grandchildren had so much fun in the lazy river, horseback riding on the beach. Beautiful weather.

Roberto Alarcon was our tour guide and just let me say, he is amazing. The resort was beautiful and the service was great but without Roberto it would not have been the same. He made all our reservations for restaurants drove us everywhere took us shopping where the best deals were.

Overall clean hotel. Sitting outside around pool one gets bug bites on lower legs. This was heard from many people.

My daughter and I had a good time. It was raining when we arrived and didn’t like the damp, moldy smell in the room. We asked for another one and it had the same smell. Figured out it was something in the ac system. The weather turned out gorgeous so didn’t need to run the ac much. Room was nice and our attendant Gabriella made up our room beautifully. Her towel swans and birthday cake for my daughter’s birthday were fabulous! She really decorated the room. We were there a couple of weeks ago so several things were closed and lot of construction for improvements going on. Most were very friendly and took pride in providing great Vidanta service with the heart salute. Favorite restaurant was Green Break - loved our server Nancy and loved the Beach Club pool and vibe. The Joy Squad was fun and entertaining at the Grand Mayan Pool as spent most of our time there since we stayed at the Grand Mayan. Horseback riding on the beach was fun. I liked walking the beach but didn’t like being approached all the time by the vendors. Understood them but got tired of being approached. Our shuttle drivers were funny and seemed like they loved their jobs: Victor and Ezekiel. We booked a tour to go see the cliff divers and have dinner at La Perla. It was not a fun experience or night. There was communication mix up somehow between the resort and the tour operator. Very disappointed. Don’t recommend it. It was nice to get away to relax and chill and was definitely able to do that. We stayed at Riviera Maya for our first stay at Vidanta in December 2019 and it definitely spoiled us!! Looking forward to trying Nuevo Vallarta and going back to Riviera Maya.

When you're sitting poolside, look out for Maria Martinez and/or Noe. They are amazingly attentive and give the best service... definitely look out for them, they're awesome. "Beach club" has the best fish tacos out of all the restaurants. But also look for the steak tacos pool side at the hotel. At the pool the entertainment "vidanta joy squad" lived up to their name. They brought energy and happiness to everyone's faces. On top of that they made you feel like they were enjoying their time outside as well. They played trivia, bingo, volleyball, pingpong and more. If you seemed shy or out of the loop they would find you and ask if you wanted join in on the fun. If you see Gabriel, irazena, and yendy make sure to tell them hello! The Mondo nightclub has the best staff, Angel was extremely attentive and a lot of fun and if you're in need translator for English he will most likely be the one they call for. But, you can find Angel in almost any other bar or restaurant on the property throughout the day. We were very lucky in the taxi category. Jose, taxi number 8 was there with us from begining to end. When we needed someone, he was already there waiting with the door open with a smile. Jose knows the city like the back of his hand and if you wanted something specific he knew the best place to take us. When needing a chauffeur ask for him. He also loves to help you learn Spanish. Over all this was a spectacular experience. But, I would highly recommend learning basic Spanish or have a great offline translation app. This place does cater to English speaking guests but mainly all staff and people are Spanish speaking which was the hardest part of this amazing week.

I stayed here for my honeymoon from December through New Years. Beautiful facility. Food is good. Not much to do for young couples looking to have fun. More of a family resort. However, I rate it a one star because of the guests. If you’re black be prepared to experience a lot of stares and micro aggressions from other guests at the resorts. A lot of them stare as if they have never seen a black person before. Someone even had the nerve to ask what I was doing there. Overall I love Vidanta and this is my third resort. I’ve been to Vidanta Puerto Vallarta and Vidanta Rivera Maya but have never experienced as many stares from guests on the resorts as my wife and I did here at the Acapulco resort. I hope more is done to make guests of all races feel comfortable and at home. To pay so much money and feel out of place is terrible. I likely won’t be back to this location. I hope Vidanta takes this serious.

We have been here a number of times and love the resort. Their new Le Petit Chef experience is wonderful. We highly recommend for those looking for a fun, fine dining option.

Horrible time, My two days that I was at the pool I was approached by hotel staff & was told to go change my shorts as they were unappropriate for the pool. My shorts were Aviation issue rescue swimmer shorts. I am a US Retired Veteran & was hoping to have a great relaxed time here but this was not the case.
