It was just the four of us who participated in the tasting class, so there was plenty of time to talk with Antonio and ask questions - it was really informative! He was a kind and good host and picked us up and drove us home afterwards. We would highly reccomend to visit Antonio.

We went from knowing virtually nothing to understanding so much about the way mezcal is made and how to differentiate between different types. We focused a lot on tasting notes and learning how to taste accurately but in a really relaxed and chilled environment. We would 100% recommend the experience, it was really worth the money and we felt we came away with a lot of knowledge and a great introduction into mezcal. There was such a great variety of mezcals to try that were rare and not available in shops. If you want to learn about mezcal and have a really authentic experience with a local producer and expert then this is definitely for you ! Thanks Antonio for a great evening.

I never felt pressured to buy anything at the places we were taken, but even so, everyone in our group left with a few bottles of mezcal ? I would recommend this tour to anyone traveling in Oaxaca! Bring sunscreen and wear long pants!

We ask A LOT of questions and Antonio not only had all the answers but was super engaged with us. We learned a ton and bought a good number of bottles all at very reasonable prices (MUCH cheaper than in town). He was a very safe/excellent driver. We even went and had lunch at the local market after which was VERY yummy. Could not recommend this tour more!
