2nd year we've enjoyed Moon Palace. Last year at Sunrise, this year at Nizuc. Loved both locations. I will say though, that Nizuc is more laid back than Sunrise (and The Palace, another location), so if you're older you'd probably find Nizuc more attractive. The food is excellent and the entertainment was very good. Staff was very friendly and service was top notch. You definitely get your money's worth and the cost is very reasonable for an all inclusive!! Highly recommend the Moon Palace resorts in Cancun!

I stayed at the Grand Moon Palace and The Sunrise but visit the Nizuc often! It's typically less busy than the other two and seems to be more family friendly pools perfect for smaller children and a slide for older children. The entertainment is great!

We spent 5 days & 4 nights in an ocean front room at Nizuc, 2 adults & 2 kids. Check in was fast, no lines, was able to grab some food after traveling while staff waited to give us maps and show us the property. With the beds being smaller double beds, we called and were brought an additional bed. Food was delivered quickly whether called to order or ordered through the app. Pools were great for kids, Nizuc had a warmer heated pool. Ocean was dirty & smelly but beach had great sand. Plenty of lounge chairs, no towel cards to keep track of. So many restaurants between Nizuc & Sunrise from buffet, pizza, BBQ, burgers, tacos, Brazilian steak house, Italian, ice cream/ crepes/ sweets, Mexican food, etc. Had great service everywhere we ate. Golf carts made getting around the large resort easy. Although I needed to walk after how much I ate. Loved the fire show on the beach at Nizuc. Kid’s enjoyed the flow rider, basketball courts & play center at Sunrise. We were able to go to the beach at the Beach Palace and eat lunch there included in the all inclusive. So much to do at the resort that we didn’t spend additional money on excursions like we have when stayed at other resorts. We didn’t go to any of the restaurants that required reservations. We didn’t know what time we’d want to eat to plan for. We did not attend any timeshare presentation during our visit but was offered to come back at a discounted rate and attend a presentation. We loved the resort and can’t wait to go back.

The place is always clean and busy. Service is top notch. The only issue I have is with the food. If you ordered 5 meals, only one would taste half good. Other than that, pretty nice place!

Great family resort... kid friendly and all round good food and beverages! Only down fall is that it was slightly busy then we expected with spring break and easter holiday break so service did lag a little; struggle to get reservations at some restaurants and checking in... Other then that great family break!

Good part: Excellent friendly service by cleaning staff, bell boy, transportation and waiters. Several Giant pools. Great restaurants. Huge international cuisine buffet with a variety of food. Daily night shows are entertaining. This place is very spread out that golf carts run all the time to take you at different spots. Close to the airport Bad part: Beach sucks, sales people hanging out in the lobby try to sell you memberships. Sometimes it gets very irritating when 4 or 5 people come to bother to buy memberships. Since the property is so big it is easy to confuse and get lost. Expect to wait for the golf carts longer than usual. Overall great vacation spot

We enjoyed visiting this resort for a long weekend! We had a comfortable, clean room with an ocean view. We enjoyed meals at many of the restaurants, our favorite being the steak house. Lots of chairs near the pool and delicious beverages! Everyone was very friendly!

Great experience overall. Friendly, responsive, and helpful staff at all three of the Moon Palace resorts who made me feel like they were glad to have me there. Well-maintained and clean properties with lots of activities included. Easy to get around with the Lobby-to-Lobby bus and golf cart bus routes. Beautiful views of the ocean. I look forward to returning in the future to discover more of what the resort and area have to offer.
