★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you like a good bench to relax on while you talk away the day then this place is right for you, there are plenty of options if you also need some food, a beverage or a snack. The security issue is no problem since it is right next to the municipal police department. Remember that Thursday is not a good day to visit it since it is market day and it is really crowded.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Zaachila is a hidden gem just around 20 minutes from the city of Oaxaca, you can find many goods and amazing people, the street market takes place every Thursday where you'll find many products from all of the region. There is hand made traditional ice cream made every day. Definitely something you have to try.
