Good place to eat, although being a buffet, to my taste it needs to add better quality and flavor to the food. The attention of all the staff is excellent.

S	Stephanie Barry on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful location, and I liked the lunch buffet food choices (fries, mashed potatoes, fish, burgers, made-to-order tacos, fresh fruit and more), but the dinner menu was so weird (unappealing?) that we left and went to another restaurant, Route 66.

If you jave the opportunity take a dinner reservation on a night thats not as windy. As much as the wind was really nice and cooled us down, since it's right next to the ocean it's quite strong and actually blew on of the appetizers off the serving tray on the way to our table lol.
T	Tim He on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Awesome location by the beach side and great service with very friendly staff. Our bartender even performed pouring tricks for us. However, what makes or breaks a restaurant is the food and here Pez Vela lacks. The presentation is nice but the taste is nothing short of awful. We tried all of the appetizers and they ranged from bland to much too salty. The banana soup was nasty and the squid had about 50 grams of salt in it. The Fried Seafood Platter was the only good dish I had. For entrees, the Beef Picanha was decent but falls short of a good steak. The rest of the entrees were just plain bad. The swordfish steak was stale and tasteless. Overall, good service, great location, lousy awful food.
