This is just simple backyard BBQ at its best. Chickens grilled by dozen. Tio cuts and bastes them, Tia grills them. Its a family affair. For 55 pesos, you get a plate with 1/4 chicken, rice, and coleslaw. Skip the slaw if you're a tourist, its not refrigerated. But the rice is perfect. The chicken is tasty and well cooked. Worth coming early and waiting for it to be done. Also, a healthy amount of tortillas if DIY taco is what you're after. Must grab cheap eats

Follow your nose to the smokey aromas of the best grilled chicken in Sayulita. The only thing better than the pollo is the family that feeds your soul.

Turn up this smoky cul-de-sac and you’re met with a giant grill and a sprawl of chicken parts, being brushed with a heavy reddish sauce. To the side there were two small wobbly tables and several chairs to accommodate those who plan to eat here. We have come here twice in the past week. First time, we bought a half chicken to bring home. All the chicken comes with a creamy slaw, buttery Spanish rice, flour tortillas and a very spicy sauce. The chicken is delicious, for sure. The first time I got there as they were closing and the chicken was a bit dry. The second time we had just come from the beach, still damp and were famished. When we got there on the earlier side, the chicken was so flavorful, our fingers were covered in juices and sauce. We grabbed beers and drinks from the bar next doors at the corner and immediately devoured a whole chicken. So it wasn’t enough for three adults and two kids. So we bought another quarter chicken of dark meat. At the end we were all very satiated. If I went back, I think I’d just buy quarters of dark meat. Much more flavorful.

Yolanda and her family are very nice and this is the best chicken we've ever had. Highly recommend. Go around 1pm to get chicken fresh off the grill.

Great place for grilled chicken take out! Ordered a whole chicken with coleslaw, rice, tortillas and sauce. Nice and spicy marinade. Highly recommended!

Best charbroiled chicken I’ve had in a long time! $180 pesos for a whole chicken, a stack of tortillas, slaw, and sauce. One of the best deals in town! ***but watch out! A little bit of that salsa goes a long way! Or add a good bit if you’re a fan of the heat! Just make sure you’ve got a stack of napkins wherever you go to eat this!
