★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lucie and her staff are unfailingly cheerful and helpful. The food is excellent and well-priced. I love the fish a la Mexicana with fries and salad. Don’t miss the ribs (costillas) on Sundays. Don’t miss the heathy (and not so healthy) breakfast options. All good. Highly recommend!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What can I say? This is the first restaurant I ate at when I auditioned Villa Obregon in 2007. It has always been more than a restaurant to me. I go there because I enjoy the family and the food.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderful hardworking family. Lucy runs the restaurant with her daughter helping serve. Very relaxed but sparkling clean. We had fish prepared in 3 ways and all were delicious. Garlic, breaded and Mexican with the later my favourite. This restaurant is very popular with northerners. Tony, Lucy's father and Licy also run a banana farm tour on Tuesday and Thursday. A great breakfast at the restaurant, transportation to the farm where there are large swimming pools of crystal clear and warm well water. A tour of the farm followed by an afternoon swimming with beer añd tequila chasers included. Then a rib or chicken BBQ which is tasty and fills the spot. Then transportation back to town. Wow. What a great day! Price is very reasonable. Don't miss this great family restaurant.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best ribs I’ve ever had! The sauce is incredible, the meat tender-falls off the bones! It’s no wonder she sells out on her nightly specials! Lucy is hardworking and delightful-she ensures you have a positive and welcoming experience in Melaque. I’ve also been there for lunch and breakfast, and every meal I’ve had is delicious! You will not be disappointed!
