This is an amazing little place, off the beaten path. We were visiting from CA with a friend who was familiar with the area. Instead of being touristy, we wanted to mingle with the locals and immerse ourselves in the community. Boca de Tomatlan was our destination today and it could not have been more perfect. The little village is in a cove surrounded by the jungle. Beautiful homes on the hills and the scenery is magnificent. We came across this restaurant (it's not the first one you see next to the wide concrete walkway, it's the one next to it). The service and food was awesome, truly authentic and welcoming. Try the whole fish special...truly one of the best things I've ever eaten...and right on the sand on a beautiful beach. Right from the restaurant, we chartered a little boat that took us to the back side of the cove to a private beach. We swam, jumped off rocks and climbed to the little waterfalls. It was truly the best day...with the best start at this little restaurant

Cheap drinks and helped us get water taxi tickets and find a free bathroom. Just pretty noisy with all the commotion around

Outstanding service, the fresh fish is super yummy and they BBQ it using wood, seasoned to perfection. 5 Stars!!!!

A table on the beach is free with food and/or beverage purchase, the use of the Bano too. 6 Pacifico or 6 Corona buckets are 160 pesos. That's just over 25 per beer, with an umbrella and great views. Can't be beat. Transportation by bus from PV 10 pesos. Food is very reasonably priced. All in all you can enjoy a nice afternoon at the beach in a beautiful area without going broke.

Delicious food and a beautiful view. Menu is in English and Spanish, and the staff are very friendly. We had the quesadillas and fish tacos, both were fantastic. You can use the washrooms as a customer but everywhere else in the little villa charges you (very cheap, but a surprise if you don't have cash on you.) You can take water taxis from here to many points. Walk the town, the locals are very friendly and the buildings are very colorful.
