★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best vegan restaurant in Mexico so far. The food was delicious. If you go to Merida no matter if you’re both vegan or not, you should visit this place for the experience. I highly recommend to everyone! ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 95 pesos for a plate. Menu change weekly.
It's fine, but as in most vegetarian restaurants they simply replace meat and cheese with soy and tofu failing to accept that soy meat and tofu simply don't resealable meat and cheese. It would be so much better not to try to replace, but come with original dishes

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ At Savia Vegana I have experience the best Seitan in my life. I would say it was also combination with side sauce which I don’t know the name yet :). The price for meal was surprisingly low considering the location of the place (almost the centre) Waiter - owner in one person provided calm
and friendly service. I can strongly recommended the place to visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Extremely rude, impatient owner. Just when I was happy to find a vegan resto and taking my time looking at menu then asked if water is free (to avoid surprises at the end), she got upset and said: “BE GRATEFUL there is a vegan restaurant in Merida where everyone eats pig. No water is not free, it costs 20 pesos, I have to pay rent! Just BE GRATEFUL.” Even when I was looking at menu long, she said impatiently, “I don’t understand. You want to eat here or not?!” Of course not! Another bad experience in Merida. Sad to say, pig eaters have been much nicer to me than this vegan. She lost a customer for the next 3 days. Btw, I am totally not grateful for the existence of your restaurant.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Such a nice place for some delicious vegan food in Merida! I loved the peaceful atmosphere and great service. The woman working there said this is your home when I sat down and was very welcoming. I ate here this past Thursday, November 5th (they are only open Thurs-Sat). I had the pib which is a traditional dish here in Yucatan that is made during the festivities of Dia de los Muertos. It is essentially a baked tamal. I would describe it like a casserole since mine was not wrapped in leaves or corn husk like a regular tamal, and it had a crispy corn crust on the outside. I also ordered the pitaya drink which was refreshing and a little thicker with actual pieces of the fruit. The pan de camote was delicious and the ice cream was more like a frozen blend of banana and strawberries but delicious nonetheless. Everything was very fresh and had lots of flavor.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ OMG, this place is amazing!! Really makes it easy to be vegan out here. I over ordered as I was starving when I got here lol i had the potato empanadas and mushroom ceviche. Both tasted scrumptious!! I’m glad I over order bc I’m deff taking this food home to enjoy later! Please know that the menu changes daily but check out their page on fb which they post what they will be serving the day of!
