Sliders - 11550 Ciudad de México

The good: the sweet potato fries were ok, but other than that the best thing I can say is that somebody else paid. The bad: almost everything except the sweet potato fries. The burgers were dried out and tasteless. The dipping sauce had an 1/8" skin on it. The mac and cheese tasted sour and frankly dangerous (we sent it back). The service was pleasant but slow and disorganized.

Food was good! However, the staff attempting to scam us was not so good. Ordered 3 sliders of the "Max Burger", and the waiter came back with one regular non-slider "Max Burger" and one regular non-slider "Original Slider" burger. The wife and I told them that we only ordered the "Max Burger" sliders and not the "Original Slider". The waiter tells us that the 3 sliders of any burger are only available in the kids menu. We know this is bull, because the name of the restaurant is sliders and there are photos of sliders on Yelp. We agree to let them take the extra burger for a to-go box. We wait a little while and another waiter, we'll call him waiter 2, comes to apologize about the confusion before clarifying that there are only sliders for the kids menu. We then point out that the menu has a 3 slider option for the burgers. Waiter 2 then BACKTRACKS and says that they just don't have the special smaller bread for the sliders (what happened to the kids menu?). Waiter 2 says that he will remove the extra burger from our bill and we oblige. He also offers to re-heat the burger we actually wanted and we decline (thinking it will lead to unsavory acts). Waiter 2 insists three times before finally letting it go. My wife and I enjoyed the meal. We were later given a printed bill with the extra burger crossed off by hand and a new total written in. Waiter 2 was very interested to see if we wanted to pay with card, but we decided to pay with cash for obvious reasons. My personal theory is that the original waiter screwed up our order but the restaurant didn't want to let the loss go. They then tried to scam us into paying for things we didn't order but eventually realized that we weren't having it. I don't dislike the restaurant itself. The vibe is cool, the prices are reasonable, and the food tastes good. The only problem is this dishonest behavior that I experienced over a measly $6. They won't catch you off guard after reading this though, so enjoy it if you do end up going!

Burgers are tasteless. I wouldn't order a burger again. Spicy corns were great though!

The best burger place I visited in Mexico, their Tacos, milkshakes & burgers are excellent. Their customer service is good and the interior is lovely and comfortable

We will definitely be back. Finally a burger that my son likes in Mexico City.

fried onions seemed like the oil needed to be changed, something off in aftertaste for me; also were lukewarm seeming. A1 like all in one place on the burger shop burger. patty doneness was good. curly fries also lukewarm. burger sounded interesting but a bit of an execution fail.

A big variety of burgers, shakes, fries (also sweet potatoe ones) and more listed on the best online menu I have used. Food is very good, ambiente is welcoming.
