★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the worst supermarkets I’ve been to in Mexico. I just moved into my Airbnb in the area and had to completely stock my kitchen for a two month stay. This place is a 7 min walk from the Airbnb. I was disgusted by what I saw. They sell vegetables that are visibly bad (brown cauliflower, bell peppers that have wrinkly skin and most of the veggies look awful). I then decided to buy ground beef and when I got home and opened the package, it was literally “slime” and smelled god awful!!! I couldn’t believe that this is what they sell to the Mexican people and they can get away with this. Aren’t there food and safety laws that prevent this?!!! I will NEVER shop here again despite it being basically across the street. I am looking for alternatives even if I have to travel 30 min to buy groceries. Do yourself a favor, shop elsewhere.
