★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This Saturday market in Santiago has a bit of everything. The fruits and vegetables are really nice. There is lots of haggling that goes on - so expect it. It is part of the experience. There are lots of decorative items that you can buy along with clothes, toys, hats, Mexican vanilla and more!! We have made friends with some of the vendors so know some of the people that are there year to year. If you see something that you like remember to walk around BEFORE you buy to see what other vendors have deals. This market also has lots of handmade items so look carefully for wonderful artisans. There are tons of talented people so look for new vendors with wonderful wears including talented jewelry makers.
