★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I arrived here at 10pm and there were no taxis or buses. You have to cross a highway to get out of the airport and there is no safe pedestrian walkway. I walked about 30 minutes in the dark in a strange city with my suitcases before finding a, taxi. Beautiful city but a terrible airport.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Small but convenient airport. The staff is very helpful. There are often only one flight to the USA per day, so keep an eye on your flight status.
Worst case scenario there are numerous flights to Cancun and Mexico City per day which could get you to the US in a crunch.
Normal taxis from Centro are $250 pesos. Not bad at all if you do not want to wait on the scarce Ubers in town.
All in all a great experience. They have a lounge you can access with many popular credit cards.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ When you have an overnight transfer you will not be allowed to await your next flight at the terminal or even outside.
You will be forced to leave the area and either spend those nightly hours at an expensive hotel or by hiding somewhere at a parking lot.
They should at least have something outside, akin to a busstop, to let people stay. I had a lovely night hiding behind a parked vehicle on the parking of a car rental company...accompanied by mosquitos.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hi
so I actually had a flight w Volaris. That was from Tijuana, Mexico to Veracruz, Mexico. (2:04pm to 6:20pm)
I was wondering if you guys had a lost and found. Unfortunately, with all the commotion that was between grabbing all of our carry-on items to getting off the plane, I didn't realize that I left my child's backpack which contains medical records that I need to have with me at all times.
One of the flight attendants that I saw, his name was Daniel and if it helps, I had my daughter's car seat on the plane.
Description of the bag:
• Brown handle with a brown diamond shape on the front.
• Mixed of Light Gray and dark Gray front pocket.
• at least 2 zippers.
If you guys can contact me please, I would really appreciate it. Thank you!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a small airport with direct flights to Monterrey, CDMX, Merida, Reynosa and other cities. The transportation options to/from the city are not very competitive and as a general rule very expensive. After exiting the secured area to the left, there are 2 booths were authorized taxis sell their tickets. I used the ADO taxi service and paid 200 pesos to get me to the bus station in the city. At the ADO station, there is a taxi service that charges 40 pesos to get you to the city center. There you can also buy bus tickets to go to Orizaba, Cordoba, Xalapa and other destinations in Veracruz.
