Villa Bonobo - 70934 Puerto Escondido

I stayed here this past October for eight nights. Initially we were booked for three but immediately extended for five more days after our first night. I have nothing but great things to say about Villa Bonobo. Everything was top-notch. The rooms were extremely clean, the beds were so comfortable, AC was great, the water temps/pressure was perfect, internet always worked and the pool was always pristine. But what made this place amazing was the people. Enric who manages the hostel alongside Alicia and Chris were so kind and generous. Whether it was finding us scooter rentals, recommending a good surf instructor or just hanging/vibing with us, all of the staff was rad. I'm vegan and every morning the staff, Enric, Seavan and Delfi would prep a vegan breakfast for me even though it made their lives tougher, super kind of them! Overall, just book this place, the vibes are dope, I'll def be visiting this year again! Thanks for all the memories Bonobo!

The staff are absolutely lovely, really helpful and friendly, they organised events in the hostel and outside in La Punta. The room was great and really clean. There was an amazing view from the bar area, the hostel was located a 20 minutes walk from beach so was quite and away from the noisy bars. Definitely recommend staying.

Villa Bonobo is a lovely place to stay with a staff that is very friendly. The views are very nice and they have the coldest beer in town (not an exaggeration) which was very welcomed. The rooms and common areas were kept clean and tidy. The breakfasts were always enjoyable and very presentable.

This place is beautiful is so many ways. Recieved a warm welcome from the wonderful staff here who let us come early to drop our bags off. The entire property is amazing and very clean. Our booking was for the single room overlooking the pool. It had AC which was quite nice and a beautiful balcony with a private sunset view. We were able to enjoy the rooftop bar a couple of nights that we were there and they had an amazing BBQ night! Definitely recommend this little gem if you are coming to visit Puerto Escondido.

This place is absolutely exceptional in its welcoming atmosphere, attention to detail, and accommodating in every way. When you stay here, we found it to be more than a beautiful accommodation. The staff goes above to show you the best places to eat/go out, to surf, for experiences. Heart-breaking to leave as you make friends along the way with guests that stay there at the same time as well. Highly recommend it!

To be honest, This place was mind-blowing. Every single person there were absolutely exceptional. They help set up everything for me and my wife. We were able to do everything we were able to do everything we wanted to do to include surfing lessons, sunset horseback riding, and dolphin/whale watch. Breakfast was amazing and the place itself has one of the best views you can get for a sunset. First time in Puerto Escondido and we extended our stay because of this place. Was heartbreaking to leave

My fiancé and I stayed at Villa Bonobo for our engagement in Puerto Escondido and it was perfect! The staff and owners are all such beautiful people and the other guests made it really special too. The vibe and the rooftop bar nights made our stay even better. The rooms are super comfortable, the beds are soft and huge and the air con is nice on the hot nights. Very easy to taxi down to the beach and back (50-80 pesos each way). It is a quiet location which can be rare in the area with all the night clubs and bars.
