One of the cutest places I have ever seen! The rooms are spacious and immaculate. Breakfast is included in a beautiful garden. Yoga is offered. Located right in town on the quiet side. Bars and restaurants are nearby and 1 block to the beach. Highly recommend!!

2 Words; Enchanting and noisy. They keep chickens in the yard and 6am comes around!. Anyways, clean and cute, but other guests having hallway parties didn't read the rules. Staff were helpful. Hope they got the kittens out near the pool before they drown!.

Would like to share details of our attempt to stay in Villas Sayulita. We booked hotel 1 and a half months ahead and paid 1/2 of the total $ 4,500.00(mex) for 3 nights stay. We checked in at 3 pm, we were asked to pay another half of our total which were $ 2,250.00(mex) We were also asked to put $350 damage deposit . We went to our room and find it dirty starting from the lots of hair in the sink to dirty bedding. We asked to give us clean room but they said we need to wait for the cleaning staff to clean it for us. We decided to walk around the town while they are cleaning our room. Before we left we turned air conditioning unit on to 16 С because it was super hot day( 34C). We came back in 2.5 hours to still very hot and humid room and ..that still was pretty dirty. After laying in bed for30 min we begin to understand that there is no way we would be able to sleep in the hot room foк 3 nights. We went to the front deck and tell them that air conditioning not really working and it is still 26C in the room. The guy said "sorry" and informed us that it is what it is. We decided we need to find something else . We asked to keep one day rent and refund us the rest, after all we were in that room only for 30 min max. The guy called the owner and the owner said that out of our $ 4,500.00+$350.00 he could only refund $500.00 We try to explain that we paid for air-conditioned room and our air-conditioner is not working and it's impossible to stay in that room in that heat. We were told take it or leave it and we decided to take $500 and just go. Please, review the pictures. Please, note that the pictures were taken AFTER second "cleaning" of the room. I didn't take pictures before the second cleaning, because I was gaging. Remember, they clean with pandemic protocol. Judge for yourself and think twice before booking. They kept $4,350 for our 30 min in the room. They didn't hold their end of the stick-room was dirty still and air conditioning not working properly.

great location only a few minutes from the beach. clean rooms with AC and a fan. more like a studio apartment, came with a fridge, a sink, and a stovetop. nice pool area. the poached eggs breakfast is great! and included ? the guys who work the desk were super helpful as well. called us a taxi and got some excellent recommendations from them. wifi was a bit spotty but great spot to stay in the area for that price point!

Villa Sayulita is on the north side of sayulita and about 1.5 blocks east of the beach. It is about a 6-8 block walk to the town center which is awesome and quiet at night when the travelers are enjoying the night life. This is a perfect little hotel for a family that likes to travel and discover the area on their own terms. It is well kept and has a great vibe. Examples: yoga plaza in their “secret garden” behind the main hotel, great hand made breakfast including healthy options along side traditional breakfasts, a great pool with a kid’s section for toddlers, beautifully maintained vegetation, a small clothing boutique, surf boards to use, kayaks, a dirt bike pump track!, and even a sweat lodge (didn’t get to use that). The staff was what really made the stay. They are just happy and kind people. They were happy when you were smiling. In particular the concierge Salvador, the breakfast master Gi Gio, and the grounds keeper Athuro. They were awesome and held the keys to local secret beach spots, bike trails, and local food favorites. This hotel should consider themselves lucky to have such an awesome staff. If you are looking for a Disneyland style vacation then this is probably not the place. But if you want to be in a great location, on a great property, and with good souls then this is the place! Thank you Villa Sayulita!!

Nice setting and friendly staff. The room was not as I was expecting (the economic one). The breakfast was very slow and stuff already missing from the menu at 10am. But very nice pool and garden. It is quiet and clean.

No TV! If you want luxury this is not the place! Staff are friendly. No lounge chairs for the pool or chairs. Has kitchen, but if your a coffee drinker, bring your own pan to boil water, or bring your own coffee pot. No ice. No shampoo. Has a refrigerator and freezer

The front desk staff was helpful and polite, the breakfast was also very nice. The rooms however were very disappointing, black mold on the ceiling and around the wood cabinets in the room, very run down. I checked out early because the room was unacceptable. I was told I wouldn’t get a refund. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
