Walmart Macro Plaza Vallarta - 48328 Puerto Vallarta

Always leave with my list only partly filled. Fortunately shopping choices here are plentiful. Now I only go occasionally.

Big store, big selection of groceries, clothes, housewares, small appliances, family footwear and in store dollar store (20 pesos items) but a shortage of shopping carts. Protocols in place but not so convinced about carts being cleaned like Sam's Club. Fast service through cash but remember to take your own shopping bags.Very busy locale

Just left this walmart. It's not big but has the things you need for the vacation. They did not have many swim wear and we couldn't find any pool toys. Was disappointed.

The staff are very rude and unhelpful. You just get blank stares/want to rip your head off. Maybe as they're struggling so they take it out on people. Very unprofessional. Find it really uncomfortable, this particular area seems to hate tourists. Can't wait to leave.

Big Walmart supermarket inside the plaza. Lots of different products. Food:vegetables and fruits, meet and chicken, milk, and many others. Also clothes for all ages and sports goods. All prices are much cheaper then in Canada

Oh, they're going to hate me, but I have a bone to pick with the Walton family. I walked from Old Town to Pitillal on Sunday to pick up and deliver a simple bag of charcoal for clients in town who wanted to BBQ. Now I know from living here that the locals use carbon and not charcoal because I went through this my first year here. I did eventually find some and that lasted me over a year. I bought it at the Walmart location at the marina. So why doesn't MacroPlaza carry it? Because nobody is buying it. That simple, except for old guys like me. I didn't get the carbon for my clients, I figured the hassle in getting it lit and staying lit would be much like my first time experience with it. (The secret is in the Cheetos). Cheetos have so much oil and grease in them they will keep something burning for days without going out, guaranteed. Cheetos and carbon on sale at Walmart

fresh fish and fruits are available but selection could be better. good market u find all necessary or unnecessary ?

It was really interesting to go to a Walmart in Mexico - I liked checking out the different products! There are no change rooms available so unfortunately I couldn't go too crazy with my clothes shopping. It's handy if you need to stock up on basics while on vacation.
