★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our family went to this restaurant today for lunch. It was a great experience. We ordered the steak nachos, conchinita tacos, cocktails, and a salad. They were all excellent. The service was kind and helpful. The chicken in the salad was flavorful and obviously fresh. No frozen chicken breasts from Costco here!! The guacamole in the nachos was delicious. The patio dining area is super tranquil and the vibrant mural is a nice touch. Definitely a great local, small business alternative to the usual tourist spots. We will definitely return.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I wouldn't recommend visiting this place. There were just three mint leaves in my mojito, from which one was completely brown and dry. The drink tasted as water with a drop of lime. The portion of guacamole was tiny with just five or six tortilla chips in total (very unusual for Yucatan portions). Not even a pinch of salt or any other spices touched the chicken in pollo pibil I ordered. My husband was more lucky and pollo Yucateca was indeed good. However, the waitress confused the dishes and gave my order of pollo pibil to my husband saying it is pollo Yucateca which we already tried and know how it looks like.

Would be nice If they improve the atmosphere, music, more illumination, fix the main hall… because the place has much more potential. Also you can buy Marquesitas dessert and they offer really good smoothies.
By paying by card (base on our experience) they invite/force you to leave the 10% of the bill as a tip, leading into a tense situation.
Nice place, but with a few CONs.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had dinner at this beautiful little oasis directly located in the heart of Merida. The paintings on the wall were made of the owner himself. He is such a nice person and also the Service was really good. We didn't wait long for the meals. We liked the food a lot and the menu is also not overpriced. They also offer vegetarian food and the owner said, that he will organise some vegan meals as well. We really enjoyed our dinner and would definitely come again.
