★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I can only speak to the restaurant. Food 7/10. Service 2/10. If you're a full table or female of any number, you definitely get more attentive service. A lone guy at a table-- apparently they assume the tip will be meager? And the waiter this evening, well, as soon as I questioned the poor service after paying, he was deaf to me. Never gotten the cold shoulder in Mahahual the way I have at 40 Canones. Strike three. WON'T be back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice if basic hotel. Good restaurant. Beach facilities and water on tap. Room price will determine your experience but if you get the balcony sea view rooms, you will enjoy. I would return.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Disappointed by this hotel. The ground floor with the restaurant is beautiful, with trees and lights that look dreamy, and food was good.
But the rooms are very dark, windows cannot be used so much because they are open to the view of other customers.
One part in the shower was broken, but not a big issue.
The staff was so and so. When we left, we got a strange behaviour from the person a the front desk, who seemed annoyed to open the parking to us so that we can leave.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really great, relaxing day at the beach. We booked a package online and got a nice lunch while the rain blew through the area. The beach chairs are comfortable and many of them are shaded if you need that option.
