La Administración del Sistema Portuario Nacional Puerto Chiapas, en coordinación con el Ayuntamiento Municipal de Tapachula, COAPATAP y las empresas privadas; Chiquita Brands, Procesa, Mainaval, Lubricantes y Combustibles Marinos, Grupo Suvemo, ACTOM, Cafesca, Gramosa Agroalimentos y Aeromarítima, así como habitantes de la región, realizaron una limpieza al Parque Industrial Francisco I. Madero.

As a tourist driver I can say that the facilities are very spacious, especially parking for all types of vehicles.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lugar bonito y agradable, no es de libre acceso pero vale la pena ver los cruceros. Puedes acceder si solicitas permiso con anticipación o tu escuela realiza una visita guiada como le llaman :)
Nice and pleasant place, it is not freely accessible but the cruises are worth seeing. You can access if you request permission in advance or your school conducts a guided tour as they call it :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a real nice port with clean restrooms. A trip downtown is $13.00 RT. Lots of local vendors, but you don't feel like you are running a gauntlet like some other ports. At the present time you have to fill out a health form np ans show your vaccination card.
