Horrible, la administradora súper grosera y prepotente jamás regresaría, no hay privacidad, sin duda el peor lugar para alojarse y muy sucio nos dejó un jabón usado lleno de pelos ?

La señora muy amable, a veces no se le entiende porque habla más inglés pero en general super lindo los bungalows muy originales, rústico, muy recomendable

Terrible lugar higiene 0 servicio 0 insectos al por mayor no fumigan ni se hace el servicio de limpieza adecuado. Es ecológico pero deja mucho que desear!! No volvería a hospedarme allí! Falta seriedad y buena administración!!!

No me gusta escribir opiniones en google porque creo que cada persona es única y diferente. El lugar es muy sencillo y rústico. Me encanta!! Tiene un jardín hermoso que atrae todo tipo de insectos, ranas, ardillas, chapulines, etc.. si te gusta la naturaleza y la simplicidad con el sonido de las olas toda la noche, este lugar es para ti. Yo volvería sin pensarlo dos veces. Mi bungalow tenía vista al cerro, la decoración y materiales con los que se construyó el lugar son hermosos. No tienen AC, pero el bungalow es abierto y fresco, con el ventilador es más que suficiente para pasar la noche. Esta retirado del centro, pero hay vans que te llevan y muchos restaurantes y tiendas cerca. Gracias por ser tan amable con nosotros y gracias por crear tan bello lugar cerca de la Playa. Me hospedé aquí hace bastante tiempo, pero un amigo me preguntó dónde deberían quedarse y me acordé de este lugar. Quizás dejar una reseña ayudará a que alguien más evite quedarse aquí. Aspectos positivos: Zihuatanejo es un lugar hermoso. Playa La Ropa es una playa fabulosa. La ubicación no es mala, pero está en lo alto de una colina empinada. Las casitas son agradables pero están mostrando su edad: ya es hora de renovarlas y comprar nuevos electrodomésticos y accesorios. Puntos negativos: La dueña (que vive en la propiedad) parece borracha la mayor parte del tiempo. Es muy ruidosa, grosera y racista con los latinos. La cocina es inadecuada. El fregadero es pequeño, no hay una estufa adecuada, no hay espacio suficiente para preparar o comer comidas, el refrigerador es antiguo y hay muy poco almacenamiento. Hay un montón de lugares para alojarse en la zona. Evita este, no lo recomiendo.

Canta Mar is a wonderful place to stay. We take care of our guests and give them a modicom of privacy as all would wish to enjoy.

I reserved two bungalows here but luckily I didn’t pay for anything nor stay because the woman who answered the phone from the website was super rude and disrespectful. I had asked if they had ac and she must Have misunderstood me because I wanted to know if the bungalows had an AC and then she stated that they did but when I called again she (Abbi) stated that none of the bungalows have AC. We had decided to look around and see if we could find a better option around the same price with AC. when we called to let her know that we had found a different place, she said “I knew you weren’t coming anyway. This is why we make Mexicans pay deposits.” My aunt (who only speaks Spanish) had also called and was treated extremely rudely, which I think was because she spoke Spanish. If you’re white and speak English, this is the place for you. If you are a POC and don’t speak English be prepared to be treated extremely terrible. I never write reviews, but to me disrespecting people on their own land where they have welcomed you to open a place, is completely unacceptable. Wish I could give zero stars.

Cantamar is a simple rustic retreat. If you want AC, rent the suite. If want fresh oysters within walking distance and the ebb and flow of the ocean waves, night swims with the blackness of the bay and lights on the hills, , this place is for you. There are plenty of restaurants a short walk down the beach. But you’re not in town, in fact the closest ATM is 2 1/2 miles. If you’re seeking another time and era of vacation life and mostly local tourists, this is the place for you. Abby is a 29 year veteran of Zihuatanejo and a gracious host. Simple bungalows with adequate supplies and and locally sourced kitchenware. Peace and quiet. Enjoy it.
