★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Solo se puede nadar si pagas para ir a la isla. Es muy bonito, pero si necesitas nadar sin pagar algo extra, puedes ir al lago Montebello

Hay troncos en la orilla del lago donde te puedes sentar a contemplar la naturaleza, hay recorridos a la isla de las orquídeas en balsas hechas de troncos, todos tienen que remar, hay estacionamiento y locales de comida y antojitos, el quesito con todo es la especialidad, me gusta que no permitan lanchas de motor y que no te dejen nadar para que se siga preservando el lugar muy natural
A marvel! The view is amazing! There are logs on the shore of the lake where you can sit and contemplate nature, there are tours to the island of orchids on rafts made of logs, everyone has to row, there is parking and food and snack places, the cheese with everything is the specialty, I like that they do not allow motorboats and that they do not let you swim so that the very natural place continues to be preserved

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The staff here at this entrance were kind of rude, even though we had paid two separate entrance fees for both the national park, and this specific lake, they still wanted to charge me 200 pesos just to take MY OWN paddle board out on the lake. I even had my own life jackets and paddles, but they didn't want to let me through to the lake and caused a big hassle. I paddle board at lakes all around the world, and this is the first time I've ever encountered something as ridiculous as this.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The lake is gorgeous for sure, but before you go you should consider that you’ll have two options of activities there: either staying at the shore -there are a couple of small restaurants and shops, swimming near the port is forbidden!- or pay 100-200 pesos per person (varies depending on tour duration) for a boat tour + 30 pesos for a life jacket (swimming near the island is allowed, buy only wearing a life jacket)
