However, the doctor who treated me was unable to identify that I had an ectopic pregnancy. After several ultrasounds, positive pregnancy tests for both urine and blood, and vaginal bleeding, the doctor recommended that I have an aspirate so that, if I had had a miscarriage, they could clean it up and avoid any complications. Here it is important to mention that the aspirate is not performed by the doctor who treats you, but by another person who at least I had never seen before in all the consultations I had. I requested the aspirate with sedation and in the end you have no choice but to trust that they carry out the process in an ethical and safe manner, my husband was not allowed to be with me at any time. Actually everything went very quickly and I came out without any discomfort or bleeding. They assured me that everything was in order and they gave me an appointment for 15 days later. Before the set time, I ended up in the emergency room of the gynecology clinic 4 of the imss due to a ruptured ectopic pregnancy. The most intense pain I have ever felt in my entire life. My situation was considered highly serious and I entered as code 100, that is, in danger of death. I lost a fallopian tube and obviously the ovary.
