El cobro de comisión, el cual va de 3% al 5% sobre el valor total de la compra o el servicio contratado, se efectúa con la finalidad de cubrir los gastos de comisión por el uso de la terminal bancaria.
En el contrato que firma el establecimiento o negocio al momento de contratar el servicio establece que este cargo extra debe de ser pagado por el negocio, no por el cliente, por esto los usuarios de tarjetas tienen una idea negativa respecto al pago con tarjeta, ya que en algunas ocasiones resulta ser más caro el pago por este medio que en efectivo.
No se debería de cobrar al cliente porque, yo como empresa, lo que estoy buscando es vender más, poner a disposición del cliente todos los medios de pago, si eso me trae un costo, como empresa debo de ser suficientemente capaz de manejar ese costo y no castigar el cliente.
