ADO Centro - 77500 Cancún

Nice clean and new building. But there are so long queues, you lose much more than 30 minutes to get to the counter. If you hurry up to the airport this is a nightmare. In addition there is almost always a loud and same announcement. So try to get a collectivo instead.

I was traveling from tulum to cancun and some of my personal belongings were stolen in the bugage store room of the bus.

ADO bus terminal to catch an ADO Red bus to wherever. Me, Merida, a 4 hour ride for 25 USD. Compared to Thailand, very expensive! Never sure if I'm getting ripped off as this is Mexico and not Thailand.

5 stars for helpful security guard :) (I found guy who speaks English) Terminal has free WiFi and luggage storage. My backpack is 70cm long, so I paid 22 pesos/hour. It’s open 6am-9pm.

watch for pickpockets. my friend got his wallet stolen from his backpack while waiting to board. also the lines to buy tickets here are a bit long. other than that i thought that this was a pretty good terminal.

Great service! Reliable and fair prices. You can easily buy tickets online or through the app. Buses are clean and comfortable, they say there’s Wi-Fi, but not really ? The sound of the movies that are playing is really really loud, if you’re trying to sleep you’ll have a hard time to do it.

Despite identifying themselves as a "luxury" bus line, ADO fails to provide basic security measures to protect passengers from theft. ADO is supposed to id every passenger that purchases a bus ticket. What is the purpose of requiring ID when one of your passengers is a thief yet ADO cannot disclose their identity to other passengers? The thief sat and chatted next to our driver for 15 minutes, then stole from three passengers items in the overhead rack and then the driver allowed the thief to have a special drop off before Cancun. Later when we all grabbed our bags at Cancun Terminal and noticed they were light, the thief was long gone and the driver claimed he didn't know him. ? Half of ADO's business is international tourists. They are marketing as a luxury bus line to tourists and then letting the tourists get ripped off. I provided ADO the trip number & time, bus number, seat number of the thief and they cannot provide a name? Where's the surveillance from the bus and the station? Why are their bus drivers making special stops on the highway for thieves?

Well located spot to go to the airport or to any other city around Cancún. You can buy on-line or on-site. Across from ADO bus station there is a 7Eleven if you want some snacks for your trip at night because the snack stores may be closed late at night. The logistics for buses is well planned and organized, they are on-time all the time.
