Super cool free spot. Hard to find. Download google maps offline. The walking path it suggested didn’t exist so we took the road all the way around until the bus stop looking bench (covered like a straw hut), then in the walking path and stayed right. Beautiful spot to swim too. Bring goggles so you can see all the mangrove jellyfish stuck to the rocks about 7 feet down! Be careful what you touch!

It's free. How am I supposed to rate something that's free with anything but a five star? It's confusing to get there though. There's a grass roof hut alongside the road with a trail off to the right. You take that trail and keep to the right when it forks. When you reach the water and see houses to the right, you will go right alongside the waters edge and it'll be on your right.

Beautiful area to see off the beaten path. Not a lot of tourist visit this area. It's now part of a gated community but it can still be reached from the south side. It's a great private swimming and snorkeling area.

A little difficult to find because the google map directions are very wrong. Make sure to follow the satellite view for accurate road directions because what was going to be a 30 min walk turned in to 45-1hr. Follow the trail by the bus stop, take the trail to the right, and when you come out to the clearing, make a right towards the house and you’ll see it. It’s nothing spectacular, just one building but it is cool how preserved it is.

Really fun to discover this ruin. Near the Happy Crab...keep going until you find a trailhead and the conservation preserve. And watch out for crocodiles!

A cool little ruin that is a nice walk to get to. You can follow the Google map directions, then look for this wooden bus stop and the sign and follow the path behind it. Follow the path to the left for a cenote and to the right for the ruin. You can swim in the bay in front of the ruin. You can also swim in the cenote and I believe alot of people do but there is signs for a crocodile. I heard from a local they don't see it very often so swim at your own risk.
