★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very traveler unfriendly. No water fountains (essential!) and if you need to get some sleep here, get ready to sleep on the floor or sleep on the metal, prison-like, uncomfortable benches (if you find one, because there are only about 10 in all the airport).
But there is a slight improvement in the flight displays and departure organization.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Efficient experience getting off flight and out the door! Lots of taxis and money exchanges available outside the terminal, enough restaurants in case you have to eat here, including Starbucks, chilis, and KFC in case you're homesick lol

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worst international aéroport ever. there’s more shops that seats for passagers waiting for their flight ✈️ You can see what is more important TO SALE and the passenger it’s seat whatever you can. 1/4 star for this aéroport. It’s confusing and badly organized

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice little Airport in Puerto Vallarta. Checking in and the security check was very fast. Felt safe even in Covid-19 times. Everything was sanitized

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Big airport. Lots to do. I suggest spending your free time at a VIP lounge if you can. It’s separated from the hustle and bustle, and it has snacks and drinks and lazy boy recliners.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a bit small and disorganized for my taste. On the positive side I must say the shops and restaurants are open pretty much any time of the day and night, so if you want to have breakfast at 2 in the morning, is absolutely possible.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This aeropuerto is big, and long, so if you're on an international flight be ready to walk. Hustling and bustling is the key, but everything is set up very well to keep things flowing. Announcements are made in multiple languages, so no worries on that. Here is a good tip! If you're getting Pesos prices are very good here. Just make sure you shop around to get an amazing deal.
