★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This airport is a mess. At 8pm on a Wednesday night, all of the stores and restaurants were closing. On a domestic lay over (MEX > CUU > TIJ) I had to pass through a second security filter which delayed me for my flight. Terrible.

I’ve been flying into chihuahua for years and the new renovations are nice. Drop off área was a little crazy but security was quick and easy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ COVID testing caused me to miss my flight and I was there in plenty of time to make it. Plus there was one flight to DFW for the entire day.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beware airline staff will go through your bags and steal stuff out of your luggage if you check in bags make sure you lock them. Worst experience I've had at an airport, "security" searched My bag and deemed my bag to not be able to be a carry on because of a rucking plate,(keep noted that it went through 3 different security checkpoints Inbound to mexico with no issues..) they insisted on me surrendering the plate to them told them no (plate is worth over 100$) ended up checking my bag in that's where my bag was searched and several items were taken. I didn't notice until I got to Dallas Airport at that point there was nothing I could do.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ For being a small airport I really like this place. There are plenty of food options, the airport is clean and orderly. The waiting room is a decent size and the restrooms are clean. Not much more you can ask for this facility. One of my favorite airports to fly out off in Mexico ??
