★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Don Vega is the man! I took Aero Vega from Puerto Escondido to Oaxaca and I enjoyed every second of traveling with Don Vega. He’s kind, informative, and incredibly experienced. I can only imagine that the person who left a 1 star review may not have experience flying a small private plane? Anyways, Don Vega flies to other costal towns in Oaxaca and Puebla too. Additionally, don’t drive from Oaxaca to Puerto Escondido. It will take 10 hours. You will be driving up and down mountains on dirt roads. The bus is pretty frightening as well. Good luck trying to sleep. Best to hop over in 25 minutes with Don Vega!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I took Aero Vega from Oaxaca City to Puerto Escondido in March of 2017 but never left a review. I thought it was important to express my opinion now after seeing the one star rating left by a reviewer and wondering why that person left that rating. Mr. Vega is a very competent pilot who offers a rapid, painless trip from Oaxaca City to Puerto Escondido at a very affordable price. I enjoyed the flight and the great scene that passed below us over mountain ranges that went on forever, arriving in Puerto Escondido 45 minutes later. You can’t beat that when the alternative is a very, very long drive along winding mountain roads. I recommend Mr. Vega very highly.
