You get to taste a mix of like 8 different Tequilas, Mezcals, and Raicillas while getting to dine on the ridiculously good food at Joe Jack's Fish Shack. The tasting takes place in their new Banquet Room, which is super cool. Definitely not to be missed while in Puerto Vallarta.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic experience, definitely recommended! Great food, very educational on the history and diversity of liquor in Mexico, great company.
They served a wide variety of delicious appetizers, their coconut ceviche is the best ceviche I've ever had. They also walk you through many unique Tequilas, Mezcals, and Racillas: and based on your reactions will pull out more suited for you. Like a somelier wine experience, with hundreds of bottles to explore.
A great evening and one of the highlights of PV, do it!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Did the tequila tasting yesterday with Tex. He is incredibly informative. He went through everything. Starting with Raicilla,Mezcal and then the different types of Tequilla (Blanco,Reposado, Anejo). Great food, great atmosphere and well worth the price. My wife in particular loved the room. Really made us amatuer tequila drinkers appreciate what goes into the process of making these different agave related alcohols. Highly recommended

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been around the world and back again for tastings for the history of rum, whiskey, and gin. This was the most incredible experience I’ve ever had! For $200 ( $400 for guac and chips and prizes)! per person! With all the tasting, you’re drinking about $1500 pesos! They have a historical display with live agave and they’re harvest since the beginning of tequila. Luigi took us there with his perfect English and class act! The set up is like a fancy cigar room with leather chairs and flute glasses! Bellissimo!! A must tour that does walk-in and appointments!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 100% the best tasting tour (beer, wine, spirits) I have ever experienced. My boyfriend and I were lucky enough to book this agave tasting during our fabulous stay in PV. Tex (aka Michael) was beyond knowledgeable about his craft; mezcal, tequila, and raicilla. We were given a FUN, in depth presentation about the agave plant, the wonderful history and people who make these delicious spirits. All during this slideshow, we were sipping different mezcals, raicillas and ended with anejo tequilas. Tex answered our questions, told personal stories of his travels to distilleries and ranches throughout Mexico. His presentation had beautiful photos of the tequila and mezcal makers. He also informed us where to buy and try our favorites from the tasting. Joe Jacks supplied yummy apps to snack on during the tasting. You will be totally taken care of and feel very knowledgeable after this incredible tasting. Couldn’t recommend it more, thank you Tex!
