★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Charming and beautiful rooftop location close to the center of town. The kind and enthusiastic young owner/chef is dedicated to locally sourcing ingredients for his creative take on classic mexican food. Don't miss the brisket tacos and the Gordita with Mole.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was a fantastic find. The night we ate there, we kind of took over the place, as we came with a large party that was in town for a wedding. Agavia owner and staff were incredibly gracious, and everything still came out in good time, and was delicious. All the food was served creatively and with care. I ate there over a month ago, but wanted to make sure to leave a review, because they were such great hosts. Thank you!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a lovely dinner on their quiet roof top. It was an exceptional experience. The food was fresh, the flavours were distinct and well balanced, and the presentation was inviting. The prices were more than fair and there was no long waits to get seated or for the food to arrive. Definitely a hidden gem in San Miguel! A must try!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic and quiet late night meal on the rooftop. Beautiful tempura fish tacos and roasted vegetables with mixed greens. The entire meal was fabulous and the stars of show were the veggies. I can’t recommend Agavia enough!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Delicious and beautifully presented classical Mexican food at a very reasonable price. We were attracted to enter by the “pulque” sign out front. Pulque is a prehispanic fermented agave beverage which is hard to find so well prepared and fresh. The young owner/chef is friendly and happy to explain the history of the drink and how agua miel is extracted from the agave. We liked our first experience with agua miel so much and it is such a healthy, nonalcoholic drink that we bought some to take home. We had the brisket tacos, cauliflower crem (soup) and bone marrow with salad and tacos. Absolutely delicious!! We will be back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent place. The food was original and interesting- it tasted great. The Pulques were fresh. The restaurant is on many levels with an open roof on top. The owner is knowledgeable and welcoming this place deserves to do well - a must if in San Miguel

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Phenomenal food. Beautiful presentation. Lovely environment and atmosphere. We tried several of the bigger named restaurants in the city center area, and Agavia had by far the best food. Our waiter was very hospitable and nice.
We had beef tacos, field vegetables, and the smoked corn. My only regret is not eating here every night.
This will be the most popular restaurant in the city in 2 years
