★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We ended up here because we walked by and what a wonderful surprise it was. The service was on point and the food was so flavorful, complex, and delicious. Let me cut to the chase: get the tostadas and aguachile. We’ve already planned our return trip to this restaurant.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food, once it comes and depending on availability when you order, is good. However, their ability to meet their offerings on the menu is about 50%. This issue arose at the very outset with our trying to order wine. They didn’t have what we wanted but offered an alternative but only by the glass vs giving is the bottle price. Then, as we tried to order one out of two dishes were not available. What we got was good. Really good. But the price and compromises made it less all feel…compromised. I’d like to give them a better review as they have aspirations but a few changes such as a chalk written menu and the waiter facilitating disappointment over items no longer available would have been great. And only writing this as the price of the meal would lead one to believe that a better level of service and expectation-meeting were possible.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I came here with family, opted for the 6 course menu and then it was just an absolute delight to the end. Local ingredients, exquisitely put together , cooked to perfection. We have been to the Yucatán and Mexico City before, and this is no doubt one of the best restaurants we have been to.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Such an amazing place for a foodie. The combination of flavors was amazing. My girlfriend and I went the NYE at 330pm, the place was empty. This is a jewel in this town. The ability to do this well is rare. The waiter referred to 2 similar places that offer regional foods, experimented with, in Tulum that have recently closed.
Go here and eat well!
