Love the tacos and enchiladas, been visiting since I was a little girl.

Food is good! I gave -1 star for the lack of proper ventilation which makes the place and consequently visitors absorb all the smell.

In monterrey, tacos de trompo are a dime a dozen, but few actually provide something so rich as what AK-B provides. They give you tacos, sure, but they also have enchiladas, sopes and a bunch of other stapples of mexican food. But Tacos is the thing you want here the most. The pork trompo is not fried, which is the way most other places do their meat. Most other places will put the trompo in front of heat and turn it, cut it and then fry it. AK-B does not do this, they rely sorely on the heat of the trompo grill and cut, putting the meat directly on the taco, which uses hand made tortillas that they make right then and there. They also have two trompo options, one is the classic Pork in red marinade and the other is an absolute delicacy, it is bacon and sirloin, great beef. They also SELL BEER which is something that not many other places offer in terms of taco joints. Tl;dr go there, order beer if you want, try the handmade tortillas and their two trompo options, the pork and the sirloin with bacon. You will not be disappointed.

This place has been here for mote than 20 years. It has great Mexican food at really affordable prices. Going there each weekend is a tradition. The only problem with this place is parking. I estimate this place can hold 200 people, but its parking cannot hold more than 20 cars. Be patient and enjoy great affordable food.

Used to be great until they hired new staff. Now the waiters will steal the check's money and then acuse you of not paying months later to coerced you to pay double with no way of proving yourself innocent. If that doesn't convince you of not going then at least pay with debit or credit only, the staff is not to be trusted with cash.
