Ingrid was the greatest chef, the best ceviche I've ever tried, the place is awesome. The cenotes are amazing and the glamping ????????

Internet in the rooms is a flop. Just opening a page is a brutal waste of time. We left without using the rooms as we needed reliable internet after a week of not having it. Also bring your bug spray! And keep in mind despite the images they put of a beach you are completely on the other side of the highway and no where near the beach.

We stayed 1 night in this nature glamping. Thanks to José for his warm welcome. 2 beautiful cenotes (open even at night) are to be discovered on site. And the restaurant is excellent!

Akumals small town charm has been overrun by big hotels on the beach, if you really want to immerse yourself into the tranquility of this town stay here! You will feel so welcomed and relaxed. The staff is absolutley wonderful, you know they love what they do. The Glampsite, is really beautiful with meticulous attention to detail and the wellbeing of their guests, from hot water service in the morning to fresh cold drinking water available at the restaurant at any time. The Private cenote (for guests only) really ads to the experience, the wildlife in there (birds, turtles, little fish) will be along side you:) The accommodation was spotless! (I‘m a nature lover, so i don‘t mind the occasional bug) Just bare in mind there could be the occasional spider i suppose, but there were none visiting us. The bed was a cloud, loved it. The shower is an experience in itself, absoulte privacy but it feels like you‘re „out there“ also very clean and tidy! The occasional lizzard might check in;) I feel like this place is a hidden gem! I‘d be back in a heartbeat. If you can‘t decide on where to stay in akumal or are passing through, stay here, you will leave with a smile on your face or maybe won‘t want to leave at all ;)

Jano gave my wife and me a great tour. He's very knowledgeable and has a great sense of humour. The animals are well cared for and the cenote is a refreshing way to end your visit. Because it's a not-for-profit place, your fees go to helping the animals. Worth a visit.

Firstly - very POOR and limited breakfast for 180$ per night! Come on... similar glamping sites made it much better. Otherwise - the place is beautiful, but only for nature lovers. Yes - there are mosquitoes, the shower is cold and white lights are aggressively cold. But hearing sounds of howling monkeys, singing birds, iguanas walking around or flying bats in a private cenote is unique and priceless. Their cenote has "fish loving your feet" - fish spa included in price :).

Lovely place, wonderful helpful staff. Two cenotes on the property, one of which is fantastic (and is currently the home of at least one small turtle). Restaurant / bar on site, free bike rental and only a short walk into town. Highly recommend it!

The guide we had (Jano) was so enjoyable to chat with. We went with our 5 and 6 year old and he kept the tour fun and engaging for the kids as well as the other adults. The tour moves a bit slow for kids so keep that in mind but our kids loved the experience and the swim in the Cenote at the end was pretty magical. Great friendly service and truly an animal rescue to set animals up for re-integration in the wild or permanent restoration if they have been injured and can’t live in the wild. No Tiger King vibes here.
